MHTCET ME/MTech Counselling 2025-26: Registration Process
New Registration
- Visit https://me2026.mahacet.org. (link will be activated soon)
- Click on “New Registration”.
- Read all instructions carefully, tick the checkbox (I have read all important instructions), and click “Yes”.
Registration Details
- Fill the required sections:
- Registration Category Details
- Personal Details
- Candidature Type, Category and Special Reservation Details
- Communication Details
- Choose Password
Verify One Time Password (OTP)
- Receive OTP on your mobile number.
- Enter OTP and click “Verify OTP”.
Application ID
- Note down the Application Number for future logins.
Account Login
- Login using Application ID and Password.
Select SC Verification Mode/Option
- Choose the verification mode after reading instructions carefully.
Candidate Application Form Dashboard
- Complete 7 stages shown on the dashboard.
- Click on the “Incomplete” button of Step 2 to proceed.
Qualification Details
- Enter Graduation Degree, Branch, University, Passing Year, Marks, etc.
SSC and HSC Details
- Enter marks exactly as shown on your mark sheets.
Sponsorship Details (If applicable)
- Enter sponsorship details and click “Save and Proceed”.
Work Experience Details (For Sponsored Candidates)
- Minimum 730 days (2 years) of experience required.
- Enter and add work experience details.
Upload Photograph and Signature
- Upload photograph and signature following the on-screen instructions.
- Click “Save and Proceed”.
Upload Required Documents
- Upload the documents according to the registration category selected.
- Follow the upload steps carefully.
Application Fee Cart
- Check the application fee displayed.
- Select checkbox and click “Proceed to Payment”.
- Make the payment using the available modes.
Submit Application for e-Verification
- After payment, review and submit the application for e-verification.
- Lock your application form by verifying your password.
Print Application Form
- After submission, print the application form for your records.
Verification of Application Form
- E-Scrutiny Mode: Assigned to an E-SC for verification.
- Physical Scrutiny Mode: Visit a Physical Scrutiny Center for verification.
Edit Application Form (Post Submission for Verification)
- E-Scrutiny Mode:
- Log in and click “Send Grievance”.
- Submit grievance with details and documents.
- After approval, edit and resubmit the application form.
- P-Scrutiny Mode:
- Visit a nearby Facilitation Centre with original documents.
- Edit the form and ensure all information is accurate.
- Alternatively, change verification mode through your login if needed.
MHT CET ME/MTech Documents Required
- Certificate of Indian Nationality in the name of the candidate.
- Domicile Certificate showing the candidate’s domicile state is Maharashtra.
- Birth Certificate showing the candidate’s place of birth in Maharashtra.
- Caste Certificate clearly mentioning:
- Candidate’s category.
- Statement that the caste is recognized as a backward class in Maharashtra.
- Caste/Tribe Validity Certificate issued by the Caste/Tribe Validity Committee of Maharashtra.
- Non-Creamy Layer Certificate (if applicable):
- Issued by Sub Divisional Officer or Deputy Collector.
- Must be valid up to 31st March 2026.
- Statement of Marks or Certificate of Passing SSC / Equivalent Examination.
- Statement of Marks or Certificate of Passing HSC / Equivalent Examination OR
- Passing Marksheet/Certificate of 3 years Diploma in Engineering and Technology.
- Graduation Mark sheet from a recognized University.
- Valid GATE Score Card.
- Undertaking in Proforma-S (for candidates whose qualifying examination results are not declared).
- Proforma-P (Certificate by current employer/management for sponsored candidates).
- Proforma-Q Undertaking (for sponsored candidates).

- Cut Off Merit of CAP Round-III
