This post will provide information about the GATE 2025-26 scholarship official notification. The GATE Scholarship 2026 is a merit-based program that will provide students with financial aid. This scholarship program’s goal is to provide first-year students who need an M.Tech, M.E., or M.Arch with help. Apart from that, these students had to have passed the GATE 2026 exam.
The new GATE scholarship 2025-26 registration portal will start from September 1, 2025. GATE 2025-qualified students need to provide the correct documents to benefit from the GATE scholarship opportunity at their institutes.
All the eligible institutes must upload the PG details on the new scholarship portal. The last date to submit the details is December 15, 2025.

- Students’ GATE Mark sheet
- Student Aadhaar Card details. Students’ Aadhaar cards must be linked with their bank accounts to get the DBT benefit.
- Image of the original Aadhaar card scanned
- Students’ Bank Passbook.
- Student’s original caste certificate.

Students must first confirm their eligibility to receive the GATE Scholarship amount. Candidates must have the original certificates with them if they belong to the SC, ST, OBC, or PH categories. Students must meet the following eligibility criteria to be eligible to get the GATE scholarship:
- Students must have a valid GATE or GPAT score when they are admitted to a full-time M.Tech, M.E., or M. Pharma course or an integrated dual program at an AICTE-approved institution to be selected for the AICTE GATE scholarship.
- Students are also not eligible to enroll in any other part-time courses.
- The stipend amount must be deposited into the student’s personal savings account.
GATE 2025 Scholarship Stipend Details
- M.Tech students will get a scholarship support of Rs. 12,400 per month, usually for a period of 22 months.
- For Ph.D. programs (Direct Ph.D. after B.E./ B.Tech/ M.Sc. equivalent with a valid GATE score), scholarship is granted at a rate of INR 37,000 per month for the first two years and INR 42,000 per month for the third through fifth years.

- Submit the scholarship form and visit the portal to check your application form current status.
