COEP M.Tech 2025-26 Admission: Documents
Documents to Attach with Admission Form
1. For All Candidates:
- SSC (Std. X) marksheet
- HSC/Diploma marksheet
- Qualifying Examination marksheet (Undergraduate)
- GATE/CEED marksheet/Score Card
- Leaving/Transfer Certificate
- Certificate of Indian Nationality
(In addition to the above, candidates must provide extra documents depending on their category.)
Additional Documents Based on Candidate Type:
2. Type-A Candidates:
- Domicile/Birth/Leaving Certificate indicating place of birth in Maharashtra
3. Type-B Candidates:
- Domicile Certificate of candidate/father/mother showing domicile in Maharashtra
4. Type-C Candidates:
- Employer Certificate (Proforma – A) stating that the candidate’s father/mother is a Central Government / Government of India undertaking employee currently posted in Maharashtra
5. Type-D Candidates:
- Employer Certificate (Proforma – B) stating that the candidate’s father/mother is a Maharashtra State Government / Maharashtra State Government undertaking employee
OR - Undertaking with documentary evidence from a retired employee indicating place of settlement
6. Type-E Candidates (Maharashtra-Karnataka Border Area Candidates):
- Certificate of belonging to the border area (Proforma – G1)
- Certificate confirming Marathi as mother tongue (Proforma – G2)
Special Category Documents:
7. Backward Class Candidates Belonging to SC/ST:
- Caste Certificate
- Caste/Tribe Validity Certificate
8. Backward Class Candidates Belonging to VJ/DT-NT(A)/NT(B)/NT(C)/NT(D)/OBC/SBC:
- Caste Certificate
- Caste Validity Certificate
- Non-Creamy Layer Certificate (valid up to 31st March 2026)
9. Economically Weaker Section (EWS) Candidates:
- Eligibility Certificate for EWS (Proforma – V, valid for 2025-26)
10. Socially and Economically Backward Classes (SEBC) Candidates:
- Caste Certificate
- Non-Creamy Layer Certificate (valid up to 31st March 2026)
- As per Government Amendment dated 28/06/2024
11. Orphan Candidates:
- Orphan Certificate (Proforma – U)
12. Persons with Disability (PWD) Candidates:
- Certificate in the prescribed proforma
- Domicile Certificate of candidate
